I had a 4.44 transmission installed in my teal SVX, drag raced it and everything, put 50k miles on it before I sold it. Never had any issues. :)

It was a weird sound, kind of a mix between a knocking/tapping noise but really loud. As the car heated up more sounded more like a rattling. Then when you would put it in gear, it would slightly go...

I have owned 5 AWD SVX's (2 4.44) and now have a 94 FWD, I have to say the 94 feels like it has a lot more power after it gets going than all of the other ones I have owned. The 0-60 doesn't feel...

Any check engine light? I would probably check codes and if that comes up negative, would probably pull a line from the fuel filter and do a quick on/off with the key and see if you are getting fuel.

I haven't decided yet which I like better the FWD or the AWD. This car definately handles different than the (5) AWD one's I have had. Gas milage wise i'll probably like it better.

I would say most everything from the radiator to the rear diff since the time your previous employer and ex-boyfriend...
