I will make a thread, I just don't have time to right now. I'm not 100% what's wrong yet but I know the engine's f***ed. Focusing on fixing it now more than finding out exactly what's wrong.

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

ya understandable. I think I have headgasket that is slowly going most of the time I dont have any trouble but once in a while it will start getting hot and when I open the rad cap its low. Not too many reasons for it to get low.

It could be an innocent leak. Any smoke coming out the back ever?

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

No smoke ever. I dont need to fill it very often either running it every day maybe once a month or every 2 months. I replaced my rad cap a couple weeks ago and it seems to have taken care of things. I hope so.
The day I went down to your place I ended up filling the rad at a service station before I left tampa.

Used the mothers powerball headlight restoration kit. My headlights were not bad enough to need sanding but I just used the polish and they look much better!

Yesterday, I found that the ABS controller and its respective monster harness plug weigh about two pounds.

My basement weighs about two pounds more now.

Stainless Steel lines are a very nice upgrade to the SVX.
Do one wheel at a time, to make sure you get the routing right.
I always use a fully synthetic Valvoline DOT 3-4.
I am not sure what is available to you on the base.

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

I cleaned and waxed the exterior and cleaned the entire interior and I also used some Crystal View headlight restore.

Check it out.

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

Installed a new Ecutune Rom in my TCU, but ran out of daylight before I could get the TCU reinstalled in the car.

A lil' vac and shampoo work, and then I emptied the catch cans.

Let's just say I'm glad I didn't go for an AOS!

Oil change. Got a new air filter (fram). Had plans to wash but didn't happen.

I was told by my mechanic that switching to synthetic fluid would ruin the seals.

Unless you are racing or driving down steep mountains at high speeds I don't think you will get DOT 3 regular fluid even close to the boiling point.
