And before you guys ask:
Check engine is from faulty TPS (installed new one today), stop lamp from 3 LEDs out in trunk LED bar, and ABS because I took the fuse out because ABS is for chumps

actually my solenoid got stuck and I removed the fuse to shut it up, and I left it out because I prefer no ABS in snow

Changed the oil in the Legacy, cleared its persistent O2 sensor code. Thank god for AccessPort, the car runs like garbage when the code is present.

Finished replacing the transmission in my 96 after it suddenly gave up. Learned how much fun that was. Now I need to learn how to rebuild a transmission so I can have a nice shiny one to match the engine that's at the machine shop.

I need to hurry up on my restoration project so I won't get caught without a car if this ever happens again.

Tried replacing my PCV valve. Broke the hoses for the idle air controller in the process. Can't get to where the hoses need to go to be reconnected (the smaller one I can't get to), and the intake isn't willing to come off. SO! In the shop it goes :/

Been driving the snot out of it today in our Hinterland daytime temps of +3 F ( w windchill pegged at -14 F.

Warm it up 20 minutes, slip into those heated leather barcalounger seats w 75 F breeze toasting your tootsies, crank up the tunes...and go play in the snow.

These new Firestone Winterforce snowshoes grip the straights and curves like a mountain goat, I can't make the rear swing out and the ABS barely comes on coming to a stop - sign or panic.

Replaced the RH fron ABS sensor - the old one generated a nice sine wave, but it had an internal ground fault - I tore it open a bit and cut the grounded connecting flat "wire" - it was not the harness, but an internal issue. So I had to order a new one.

Now the ABS works again :-)

The weird thing is, the ABS did not switch off automatically, but operated really dangerously with the light and code 6 on..... The pedal was hard and when pressed with force the RH front brake was not there - it pulled STRONG to the left. I had to pull the fuse to drive further and wait for the part from Colorado :-).

So I guess the self diagnostics do not know exactly how to respond to a "good" signal with a ground fault. The resistance to ground was only 3-4ohm in the defective side.

Yesterday, I replaced a power steering o-ring in 11F temps. Last night I plugged the car in. The -10F temps this morning were too much for the 400W block heater. I'm sure it helped but the temp needle didn't move when I started the car.

Installed my new Optima Bluetop the other day. Now it starts when it's less than 20 degrees out!

1000 Cranking amps, 800 cold cranking amps. Way more than enough for this car! It turns over soooo fast now...

what kind of radiator is that and is that just a blue painted PS reservoir?

Yeah, I painted the reservoir and pulley blue when I rebuilt the power steering pump. Check my sig, that's svxfiles' 2-row, all aluminum, custom built radiator.
