Yep, unless you really have deep pockets to restore it. Might be worth a look anyway.

will be cheap to keep clean and touch up paint is not a Problem . Loopks like Rustoleum flat back or maybe Grill high temp black in the 12 oz can

if was to get it, i would treat it better than that for sure.
same paint theme but with real paint instead of spray can.

maybe be a horrible picture i can clearly see that its Spray can.

the guy still has it and still selling it, i may go look at it Wednesday.
i asked about the trans and he said its strong and has cooler on it.

Buy it. Save it. But please don't paint it upside down . Either all RED (any red ) or black or black roof and trunk and red bottom. The car runs good buy it .. Some of us ( me included ) are fanatics about our SVX.something that would drive us nuts won't bother you. You can drive it like any other 20 -24 year old car. I don't see many Fieros , Escorts, or Preludes driving around .I can't think of any 90 -97 car that has held up as well.

My gut feeling is that nobody does that to a perfectly good car. People treat a car like that when it has got all beat to hell and is one step from the junkyard. I'm all for buy, fix and restore projects. I will cheer you on all the way, but I would be willing to bet that this SVX has problems. Just my 2 cents.

understood, but i would do that if the color was horrible.

if it was purple or green id do the same thing, mask up the hideous color.

i'm gonna look at this morning and i will report back.

this SVX defiantly needs a better owner. i sure as hell would better.

Hell test it out and then you will get a feel for it's condition. Rattle can the rest black til you get time/ money to paint it. That way you are not driving around with that horrible paint theme. Like the guys said red/black two tone would look good if it was reversed.
