Body condition: Couple of nicks here and there.

Known defects or problems: It needs a few things to be complete. See below.

Comments about the car: This thing's a mother of a mover and a riot to drive, but I need somethin' different.

Asking price: $6500, same as I bought it, even with all the new goods and refinements.

----------

You know it, you love it! It's the Shadow Machine!

For the folks who've been under a rock:
* Hydra Nemesis 2.6
* Twin-screw supercharger pushing 9psi through a homebrew intake manifold
* Version 8 6-speed STI transaxle with manual DCCD control
* Group N mounts
* Full custom exhaust
* Ground Control/Koni suspension with caster/camber plates
* Nevin's prototype anti-roll bar (adjustable!)
* PWR radiator
* MadDad boost, EGT, oil pressure gauges
* AEM AFR gauge
* Escaine manual seats
* WRX MOMO steering wheel
* SS brake lines
* I can't think of the rest

What I've done since I bought it:

Aesthetic installs:
* EDM tailbar
* JDM clear front corners
* 1997 grille
* Red clock, red HVAC
* 1997 grille
* Absent trunk interior complete
* New shift boot
* Red clock, red HVAC
* Manual belt swap (parts pending from Nate for the driver's side)

Functional installs and mods:
* Replaced headlights (left was broken)
* Replaced the absent antenna (yes, there's no stereo, but it takes a hole out of the car)
* Replaced the absent rear wiper and rear washer fluid tank
* Installed a Stebel compact horn
* New plugs
* New alternator
* New battery
* New main drive belt
* Replaced supercharger fluid
* Rewired the DCCD (OEM colormatched wiring)
* New tires (as above, very, very few miles)
* Water injection draws from replaced washer fluid reservoir (meth is illegal in autocross)
* Installed Aeromotive 13105 FPR and gauge
* Installed dual Perrin catch cans
* Replaced absent left front wheelwell liner
* Wired the AFR gauge to the Hydra for datalogging

What comes with it:
* Extra belt
* Extra supercharger fluid, good for one change
* 12 psi pulley
* "Top" engine harness with unnecessary connectors properly removed
* Glovebox interior (needs installation after the water injection module is secured)
* Any of the spare lights, lenses, interior bits, switches, clusters, engine covers, intake manifolds, solenoids and such from my

basement that you wish.

Here's what it needs:
* Replace one side's absent HID module (pair included)
* Secure water injection controller and install glovebox interior (all fasteners included)
* Secure DCCD controller box (long leads on wiring - place it where you like)
* Replace oil pressure gauge sending unit (included)
* Trunk pop lever needs adjustment
* Lighter outlet doesn't work. Surprise!

Why I'm selling it:
I've enjoyed the hell out of racing this car, and I've driven it to work most days of the week, rotating my winter Forester in to keep the rotors from rusting. It's every bit of what you see.

Unfortunately, my conditions don't match it well. Local autocross has lost a staple venue, and my racing opportunities have diminished vastly. The wife hates the car to the point that she doesn't even like to ride in it. Then, there's the perpetual question of the engine's longevity under even 9psi with stock internals; I'm not game for an engine swap.

The silver wheels shown below aren't included.

All questions are welcome. Come 'n' get it!

EDIT: Added that the Hydra's included.
EDIT: Corrected the tire model.

It's not sad if it's sold. It's sad if it's parted.

Why is this for sale again? This car looks like an absolute beast. Wish I could afford it right now.
