bolted in with no mods necesarry

ok, so these PWR rads mustve gotten all the bugs worked out as far as fit goes. mine bolted right in with no modification necessary at all. both top brackets lined up perfectly, the hoses went on no problem, etc... definitly recommend these for anyone looking to replace the stock radiator. only thing i recommend is check the screw in acessories such as overflow tank spout, and tranny cooler lines. they werent tight on the new one. other than that, it was a simple swap, looks cool and only took about an hour from start to finish to complete the job.

Whoops. Time to spell check.

Couple things not mentioned in that thread, I eventually cut my radiator cap to get it to fit and the overflow nozzle screws in and out, but if you ever for some reason take it out or needed to tighten it, use kid gloves because the thing is VERY fragile. Torque it too much and it just tears like paper.

I've been on the phone with PWR, and I believe I can get them now for a little less than the ones on E-Bay.
The ones on E-Bay are currently $539.95 Buy it now, with $24.95 shipping.
I am going to order two or three of them today.
More later as I find out what actual shipping and pricing runs.

Re: Aluminum Radiators with 5 pass trans cooler!

Hey Guys... I got one of these a couple of years ago, I believe it was their revised edition as it bolted right up and everything aligned fine.

The problem I am having is that the cap apparently is one of those that rub against the hood and it's causing coolant and pressure to escape.

Are these guys sending out the correct caps for those of us that bought it back when they were sending the wrong ones? What's the quickest way to get this issue fixed besides dremeling the ear off of my existing cap? I'd like to receive the right cap from them.

Regards,

-Walter
