Yes. They do rebuild and modify any strut for any car whatsoever. I originally had them modified 8 years ago without the GC kit. I mentioned this in lots of posts before, but no one took me seriously.

Actually when they saw my GC kit, they mentioned something about able to modify the struts to become completely true hydraulic similar to modern Mercedes and other cars. The drawback is the cost of the mercedes hydraulic pumps that need to be attached to my SVX struts. Since the pumps cost $750 each used, the total cost according to them is near $4250 for a full kit.

Guys I am willing to do anything to help my fellow SVX'ers, but the real problem in this is the shipping costs from Lebanon to the US. It would cost an arm and a leg to do so . Getting the struts from the US is fairly easy, we import lots of cars and car parts from there, so slipping them in will not cost much...

Online rates show that shipping won't be cheaper than $120 for each strut. I don't have the weight of it without the spring and mount. Here is the website if anyone likes to check out approx rates (hope they are updated tho):

Cleaned my MAF, replaced my air filter, and attempted to clean my TPS. Didn't have a way to measure voltage to adjust it properly so I just stuck it back on in the original position.

Got my shift boot from Redline in Poland. They were great to deal with. Superb customer service. It is Italian leather (smells like $300 shoes), black, with stitching to match the faux wood grain. Quick photo taken in the dark with a flash. It looks so much nicer in real life. Might do better with another shift knob but this one really does look good.

I'll post a better pic later.

Also, in the pic, is my new stereo, Pioneer, w/DVD, etc. Really liking that, too. The phone mic, which I put above the lighter, actually works well. Tested it for the first time today.

SVX is (still) awaiting the new to me motor, but I sent off the RS and STi Version 6 harnesses to IWire to be merged. About damn time since the mechanicals of the swap have been done for.... six years

After months of trying to find a local replacement bronze (used, of course), I finally got a new windshield (green) in last week and installed yesterday:


I'm glad it's finally fixed.. now on to my existing projects (engine... still. and hub swap)

Upper radiator hose popped off the engine side while sitting at a red light. Damn red lights seems anything that goes wrong happens at a red light
It could be because I didn't tighten the clamp last time I had it off which was several months ago and I have no recollection of. Wasn't a big problem, reconnected the hose and tightened it filled with my emergency drinking water supply from the trunk. It's now drained and filled again with proper mix.
And restocked the trunk. It's nice to be prepared
