Reading NINE planning thread

So here we go......

Looks like we have the dates of Reading IX as Friday, April 18 - Sunday, April 20, 2007

I have also been in contact with Sydney Simpson at the Morgantown HI to give her a heads up for reservations that weekend.

Since we ran out of accommodations at the 35-room level, I decided to up the quantity to 50 rooms. This year the room cutoff will be 60 days prior to the start of the meet.

This means that if you are even remotely thinking of attending, get on the list early to secure your room. Your CC will not be charged and you can cancel up to 24 hours before you are scheduled to arrive.

This will be easier than trying to add rooms to a smaller block at the last minute. You could even reserve more than one room and sell it to someone who finds out about this too late to get a room.

I am also in discussions about our dissatisfaction with the last-minute Saturday lunch changes and how to prevent this in the future. We will also discuss how we can make it better and run more efficiently than last year.
