Re: Fs: Wtf?

Wow.... where to even start.

I hope he didn't drive 150mph for 50K miles on 87 octane fuel... SVX requires premium fuel.

Out-corner a Porsche?

Hybrid emblems for parking fraud? nice....

Didn't realize that the SVX had a front limited slip...

At least he is right about saying it isn't for high school kids... not because it is a hard car to handle, but rather that they have a tendency to perish these rare cars...

Re: Fs: Wtf?

I wish my SVX could do 170 MPH.

As for parts easily purchased...Well it's easy enough, as long as you don't mind waiting a week for the parts to come in. On the plus side, my insurance rates are nothing like a Mustang GT or 7-series. Thank God...

Re: Fs: Wtf?

You'd think the seller would at least spell 'Stirling Moss' correctly. Of course all the credibility of the ad was long gone by the time he dropped Stirling's name anyway.

Re: Fs: Wtf?

This is pretty on par with the SVX's I see for sale in on CL in the portland area...people don't know **** about these cars. That's why in the future, if i'm going to buy an SVX, it's from someone who is a member of this site.

Re: Fs: Wtf?

Aw, c'mon guys.

Be kind rewind. He's obviously an enthusiast, even if he does not have all the facts straight.

I've never heard of this 170 mph on the salt flats. What truth to that? With US high gearing 145-150 might be possible, but a lot more of those smooth horses might need to be harnessed to show a properly timed 170.

Paper never refused ink is a statement we use over here.

Joe
