Amazing Bobby.

Good thing you live so close, I can run down there and steal it when you're not looking - take it for a joy ride. Don't worry, I'll return her how I found her - just with a half a tank gone!

drove the car all day today and it was great.... I am going into Boston tomorrow and will put it through its paces on the on-ramps. Also, my idle is beautiful now. I have it at 800rpms and it is nice and smooth. Dunno what changed but it is idling better now at 800rpms than it was last fall with the AT at 900rpms

alright back from some highway cruising. On ramps are a blast and this motor sounds soooo sexy at high rpms. Cruising though is nice as well. At 70mph you are at 2700rpms in 6th gear.

The best part, is the feel of the tail end pushing, under power in a hard turn!

I second that!!! I know I have the AWD version but I can throw the back-end around like a fat southern grandmother can!

Now, I am really happy for you, and it is great to have one more to the MT club, but I get 3k rpm at 80mph in 5th, what is the difference in gearing between mine and yours? (I got the 5spd)

What trans ratio do you have?
What tire size do you run?

I have 17in wheels and nitto invo's at 225/45ZR 17

as to the ratio, 3.90 final drive and .738 fifth gear

Sick, I didnt mean to be rude, I just wanted to know why we do the same speed and RPM range with you in 6th and me in 5th.

6mt's are not 5speeds with an extra overdrive. They have the same final gear ratio and same final drive ratio, just that the ratios form 1-5 in the 6speed are closer together. I hope that was not confusing

Tom
