Well, my axle problems came back up, the car shudders randomly, no ac, it's going through gas like Charlie sheen goes through cocaine. It's just way to impractical for my job.

I finished replacing my intake manifold and WOW! This is totally a new beast!
I drove it on the highway last night, it was absolutely smooth, no more hesitation. I never in my life drove as fast as I did last night! I need to get used to holding back now. I would highly recommend removing the intake manifold and replacing the vacuum hoses. Well worth the time and effort.

JB welded the top of the radiator while my parts guy trys to find me a new radiator.

Day off Monday. Up & out early to create a better, useful and absolutely essential cupholder. Who can reach beverages back there in the console cubby?
The concept came to me in a waking dream. I had this 10 year old gray plastic coffee tray I used to use on the floor of the boat - until I put in gimbal holders. A little bit of judicious trimming and it's a perfect non-interference fit between the seats and ebrake & shifter. No fasteners needed, 'locks' under the brake handle, does not wobble and is easily slipped up & out to remove in an instant - if I really need to shift into 1/2/3. Bonus - holds coin stacks. :-) Coffee/water now & always conveniently at hand. It sits back at a slight angle but the cup wells are deep and snug. Padded with felt on the bottom and edges trimmed now in rubber strip to protect the console. While imagineering this the Canada Post truck arrived with my salvaged JDM corner lights from Japan. Took only 3 weeks and worth the wait. Mine had been clumsily cleared, missing rubber gaskets and leaked so badly they were full of condensation. JDM corners are turn signal only with 2-lead sockets and an orange cup inside for a white bulb. NA 3-lead sockets are a perfect fit. Installed them, then polished the headlamps. These corner lamps make me stoopidly happy. All in all a very good day.

Added the stock cd player, finished replacing the front speakers, found a door trim and modified it to fit the driver side, and ordered a cobb light weight crank pulley after mine split.
