The bolt for the REAR lateral arm has the nut on the front (towards the CV axle) and the bolt comes out the back. It's the bolt for the FRONT lateral arm that won't come out because of the CV boot.

Okay, now, didn't get a chance to work on it for a while, and this morning when I tried to pull the axle out of the differential, it appears that it disconnects inside the CV boot. Which, if correct, means I need to remove the CV boot, preferably without damaging it. So, how do I safely take off the boot band in order to remove the boot, and am I going to have to get a new boot band or will I be able to remove it without damaging it?
