No it is marked next to the valve stem area - only on one side (either L or R) the other side has no marking.

Why disable? ABS really does not kick in until the brakes lock up or a slide is detected. Essentially extreme braking conditions. So if you are driving around normally... or even driving in a spirited fashion the ABS will never activate until you are in a perilous situation. In which case you will wish you had ABS!

On the track ABS is an option some drivers do not need because they want to be able to modulate the brakes at an extreme level where the "edge" of control needs to be reached.... pushing a car to the extreme while still maintaining control at a level that ABS will interfere with such action.

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

In 17 years of driving the 92 I only had my ABS work (and glad it did) like 4 times . As said it is a real extreme situation .

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

no matter what i buy online i have to pay an additional $5 so i avoid online as much as possible. the pipe was laying in the garage so i welded it just to pass inspection. cost ? $0
but yeah i will eventually make it look good.

i disabled the ABS cause i can stop better with out it.
i dont like the idea they cm forward more when you brake hard.

if that is the case i must brake hard no matter where i need to stop.

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

Either the transfer clutch basket has sheered, C solenoid has failed or is "stuck". Those are the 2 most typical failures.
