^ yep. Its black wrinkle finish. Also the car idles much better now with new hoses/gaskets. Also found 2 of my intake bolts were hand tight somehow which didn't help. My cars getting lots of love this week, I also did this today.....Added the Fancy LSi underseat tray w/ brackets. Also Sean I plan on painting the cover black soon but got other stuff going on like buying a 82' yamaha maxim tomorrow in Strausburg in the morning.

Put my oil pan back on and a Bosch filter and filled it up with 7 qts of M1 10W30.

Decided to see what Rota Grids and Brembos would look like on my car...
 Also stripped and cleaned my 6MT to prep it for paint, pulled my auto-shifter out, and random other tasks.

Claret: Replaced temperature sensor, recharged AC.
Stay Puft: Change oil, fix drivers side door lock, replenish fluids, change wipers, replace a fuse, + more small things. Stay Puft has now become a daily driver because my husbands Jeep just died. So I had to make sure it's ready for duty. I secretly think he's becoming a fan of the SVX.

Took it in and had the leaky exhaust welded up. For the first time in a very long time, my SVX is "factory quiet" again. It also idles better, starts smoother, and has no more hesistation. It's amazing how smooth this engine is when it's running properly. I guess the rear O2 sensor really didn't like the exhaust leak.
 I'm so happy that I've been looking for every chance I get to go for a drive in it.  On top of that, I just ordered new front rotors and pads that should hopefully eliminate the shudder that I've been getting under braking.

Tried to get some clips and gaskets. Subaru Canada lists them as no longer available.

Clips to hold the Belt Molding or Rear Quarter Garnish. ( the bit between the rear window and the fender.) There are 8 clips of 1 type, one clip of another and a clip cap to hold on each piece. Plus the rubber bits that go between the garnish and the body. I was going to have them painted but now I'm afraid I wont be able too get them back on.
I wonder if there are after market equivalents. Also was trying to get the gaskets which go between the rear lights and body to keep water out. Plus the same gaskets for the combo light in the trunk lid to keep moisture out. I was also looking for a driver's side inner fender splash guard/liner.
