92 SVX Hot Rod Black with many options

I wasn't planning on selling my SVX but due to having to move out of state and not wanting to pay storage I am considering putting up for sale for the right person. I purchased the car a few years ago and have put $$$$ into it to ensure there are no issues at the current mileage of 123,700.

When I bought it, it already had the following:
1) ECUtune Stage 1 chip upgrade
2) TCU controller upgrade for faster shifting
3) Newer Legacy GT Transmission with 4.44 final gear ratio
4) 18" Enkei aluminum wheels
5) Transmission cooler

I have added or done the following:
1) 17 inch ASA wheels for winter (have 18" for summer only)
2) Short RAM induction
3) PWR Aluminum Radiator ($550)
4) Plumbed for transmission temp gauge (never installed guage but it is wired and can be added easily)
5) ALL Wheel bearings replaced by Subaru dealer ($1500)
6) ALL Engine gaskets, including Heads replaced by dealer - the cost of engine gasket kit, water pump, pulleys, timing belt and misc parts plus labor was well over $2500
7) Silicone Radiator hoses
8) I upgraded stereo, but later removed to put in another car - so NO Radio/Stereo, but still has upgraded speakers
9) No rust, but paint wasn't good so I started doing it in Hot Rod Black (Satin/Flat) and still have extra paint.
10) New inner and outer tie rods, plus computer alignment
11) New Tires with less than 2,000 miles (on 17" wheels)
12) Custom exhaust with Quad Monza Tips

To summarize, I have put in over $6000 into the car since I bought it and it still gets over 25 MPG with about 260 HP and an A/C that will freeze you if needed. I am only selling as I have lost my job and need to relocate to where I own a home for reduced expenses and don't want to pay to store it until I can return to Ohio. This is the only car I've ever had that has never broken down on me and left me stranded on the road, so I am reluctant to sell it as I know I will not get the money back that I have put into it.
I will be listing it here and SVX World forums first, then on local Autotrader and Ebay.

Re: 92 SVX Hot Rod Black with many options

I just wanted to get the verbiage going - will get some pics up and also fill out form ASAP. Thanks for the input. Also - I don't have an asking price posted yet - I know I'm not going to get what I've put in but do you have any ideas?

The Hot rod black is not going to be a big plus.. Maybe a minus( for me anyways ) no rust and te improvements considered. No rust, I would not take less than $4,000 even needing paint.

Re: 92 SVX Hot Rod Black with many options

By Hot rod black do you mean a flat/satin finish? Because if so then I really want to see some pictures of it. I am planning on painting one or both of my SVXes this summer and I'm really considering flat black.

Wow back in the 60's everyone did that with the rusty Chevy. Fords. Rattle can black. But we told our girlfriends / and friends we were getting them ready for a new paint job... See 49 chopped Merc. I did not like the look then or now...
