 ^^What he said. There's maybe (and I'm being very generous here) a half inch behind the grille. Not gonna work. I ended up placing mine in the same spot. The only other place I would consider relocating them to is inside the fender wells, to keep the engine bay a little less cluttered.

Although the effect of people looking under the hood for the first time is always fun, between the red Supertones, Optima Red Top battery, PWR rad, and the big old aluminum manifold, people aren't really sure where to look.

You can always unplug the high pitched one. I do find the tone a little rough. Loud and attention grabbing, but not pleasant.
