Thermostat Question
My SVX is temporaryly overheating. What should I look for before removing the cylinder head gasket? Where is the thermostat located (A picture would help).

Follow the lower radiator hose to the thermostat cover on the lower, left side of the engine.
After draining the coolant, use a 10mm socket to remove the two bolts that hold the thermostat cover in place. Replace the thermostat and gasket with Subaru parts. Good luck.
