There have been reports of tank-core leaks and no long-term reports to their plastic longevity, so yes, it is a cheap replacement and I recomend them to people who just want to fix their radiator... I would not suggest them for performance oriented cars

I have a PWR. It doesn't leak at the tank, fit without modifying the brackets or bushings (though it was TIGHT), and performs as well as a stock unit under normal conditions. I have not tested it at any extreme, but have no doubt it would work flawlessly, based on the reports of others and its design.

However, it does leak from the overflow nipple. This could be due to the 17-year-old rubber hose though, so until I replace that, I won't know for sure. The leak is minor and I'm lazy.

I sent one back already, but it failed due to a sticky thermostat.

I did some testing recently, and here are my results;

"I was recently road testing an SVX with a bad head gasket and made a series of runs up a mountain (8° incline, 2810 elevation, ambient temps were about 82°f, at the bottom of the mountain, and about 74°f at the top.)
With a Chinese (I believe a Silla) radiator, the engine peaked at 239°f by the top of the mountain, with the transmission temp at 199°f.
The following run with a PWR radiator netted 199°f engine temp, with a 174°f transmission temp.
The PWR is not for everyone, but they will not crack two years later, and will do a much better job of protecting your engine and transmission.

Less then a year of normal use and it cracked on me... silla = cheap only get it if you have no other options
