.....you can quote the vehicle specs from memory.

As in "Well, you know it has a 3580 lb. curb weight........."

These things just don't usually come up in daily conversations (except for people like us.)

My neice asked me "How do you know that?", when I'm sure what she meant was "WHY do you know that?"

I LOVE THIS THREAD

- When local rice wants to race you

- You come back to your SVX and noticed that it attracts rice

- The first search on ebay is "Subaru SVX" or "Subaru"

- You enjoy to see your SVX wet, to bring out the glossy paint

- You want to buy every Subaru model car you can get your hands on

- When you have the NICEST car in the whole parking lot

- When everybody you pass by gives a good comment

- When you have a list of things you have to fix or mod

- When you wait a really long time for an SVX owner to come out of the store, and while you wait you snap a few pictures

- When you take a picture of every SVX that the camra can register (SVX Paparazzi)

- When you also like the Deloreans

- When you get in to fights with your dad saying the windows and the car in general is inpractical

- When people call it space car

- When you can't quite get that smudge on the inside of the rear window

- WHEN YOU WISH YOU HAD A 5 OR 6 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION (That goes for most of us)

- When you scrape your bumper coming out of the pizza shop

- When you scrape your cat sheild on that !@#$%^& speed bump

- When you need to refurbish your rims

- When you get small patches or rust on your doors and fenders

- When your stock cd player chooses the song

- When you turn off the radio and you can hear the antenna retract

- When you get in the car and noticed that the dammage on the driverside seat is getting worse

- When you get out of your friends VW and notice how comfortable your car is

- When you gun it you can feel the trannsmisson knock

- When you feel like you own the road

- When you say ''Yes the same Italian guy who designed that Ferrari"

- When you throw a fit about every scratch and dent

- When you have enough confidence to say "Yes" to race your friend.

- When you eat inside McDonalds

I'm on a roll

- When you take up alot of space on a thread

- When you think about getting another Subaru but you don't want to get rid of your SVX so you forget about it (Wow thats stupid)

- When your going to court about that speeding ticket

- When you get tired of people talking about V-TEC and say "I got a Boxer"

- When your sitting at that long red light and the light turns green, so does the one on the dash

- You hate to leave your car outside

- When you stay up to late because of this site

- When that @$$hole cuts in front of you and you use your thumbs to blow the horn

- When you wash car more than you bathe yourself

- When your traveling at night and you look down to see an illuminated green instrument cluster that reads up to 160

- When you remember the first time you saw an SVX

- When you remember how you aquired you SVX

- When you love your car more than life itself

- When you feel like your SVX is part of the family

when the girl at the gas station jokes around about accidently putting diesel in your gas tank - and then gets visibly scared and backs up several steps because of the look on your face
