..I think by that he means the older school clear tails, where they still had the diffusers and refelectors in the lenses, ect., but were clear...so they took on a white-ish silver appearence. Ive thought the same thing would look nice on a pearlie, but sadly the colored bulbs just arent bright enough...you have more trouble seeing that than tinted tails. Im pretty sure they are illegal nowadays for jsut that reason (and explains the orogins of altezzas)
Altezza lights would look like ****, but old chool clear tails would be okay, and period correct at that

   you can still see where the white and amber were, but they are at least red.

Even though I managed to get the air bubbles out, and have them perfectly cut..It's true, they arent so hot that close in person.It is, afterall...vynal. from 5 feet away, they look great..and with the tails that WERE in there, I'll probably be cooking, sepearating,de-condensating, and spraying them from the inside out. Untill then, this'll do just fine
