Ah. I've seen an aiplane engine that seized up in the air. The rod drove right through it's piston. Not pleasant. Not to mention the emergency landing.

I don't even know if there is a hole in there or not, I just know the motor seized up. It doesn't really matter to me anymore. It's race season, so I need to spend time getting my car ready for the track, not restoration projects. When I come back from VA, I will list it on ebay unless one of hte guy who looked at the car buys it. Thanks

Ebay...

Eh, correct me if I'm wrong but I think Tom offered to trade your massive doorstop for his "92 Teal LS-L - The daily driver- Totally stock".

If that's the case man I would do it. He likes fixing things and doing stuff for people.
'Course I think he's a bit loony, but aren't we all.

sorry didnt see your post. What is your 92 again? I was just looking forward to get rid of it as I dont need a car, but if it is an okay, maybe i will trade. It's getting sucky to have to drive race tires around in my own car.

this svx was my work horse before I got my wagon... The more I thought about it, the more I realize I need another SVX like I need a hole in my head... It is for sale but I'd would rather not trade it

You don't have time to fix it but you have time to part it out?? why don't you sell it to someone who will fix it?? You are not gonna get 1200 for a car with a totally bad motor(non-rebuildable) and a failing transmission. You need to realize you are not gonna get ur money out of the car no matter what you do. Do everyone a favor and let it go to someone who will take care of it instead of destroy it.

Parting?

Hope no one from here buys any parts from this car.

It's only a car, get over it. A car is only worth as much as people are willing to pay. The SVX is a jewel to you guys, but it's only a car to me. It is not fast nor is it a race car. I am not going to sit here and give the car away, the car is worth more in parts anyway. Why am I going to take low ball offers from people when I could make money on it. To be honest, I am not even trying to make money on it. As long as I get my money back, I am all happy. If parting it is my option, I will do it. I have had 6 people come over to look at the car since i posted it, so it might be sold before this weekend.

Don't buy my parts, someone else will.

I will do my best to be sure no one buys the parts you are selling. Monetary value is all that matters to people like you. Its not a jewel, its something that shouldn't be shredded though. You claim you have a race race yet you seized your motor and threw a rod through the block and you didn't know it had a hole in the block?? You have got to be kidding me. Im sorry to see yet another svx hit the chopping block but I am more depressed that there are owners like you

Don't let's get personal fellas.

I lavish love and kisses on my cars too, but you have to respect if somebody wants to part a car that has gone below write-off.
