Official June 2004 Reno Meet
Please confirm attendance for the Western Mountain SVX meet 2004, Reno..... weekend 6/18-20, 2004
I need to know a headcount very very soon (like 3/26) so we can reserve rooms... these rooms will be 60+ a night.... let me know interest asap.

Information please
Before I consider signing up (might be able to attend now that the weekend has 'changed' (or maybe I just thought it was the wrong weekend in the first place
 ))...What's the plan? Is there a post or something somewhere that tells what is going on, where exactly it is, etc? Are we going to the car museum? If so, what day? Are we having dinner there? Are there going to be some driving tours? If so to where? Is the big focus of the meet going to be one day, or are there multiple "official meet days"?  Sorry, but generally before I commit to something (and I assume you want people that post to this list to be very committed if you are using it to arrange lodging rates) I like to know what exactly it is I'm commting to. Might attract some more attendees if this was more advertised and had the appearance of organization.

I understand you wanting an itinerary planned. Problem with this is that we don't have anyone giving us any input who is actually familiar with the Reno area. I'm going to go to AAA this weekend and see if I can get some info for some short scenic drives. Mitch has everything planned with the museum. He needs to tell us what all he has committed us to.  ROOMS!!!! I currently have 11 standard rooms blocked at the Sands Regency Hotel/Casino. The rate for Fri and Sat nights (6/18-19) is $69 + tax. I need to know from everyone if they wish to have one of these rooms. Payment will need to be made to the hotel 3 weeks prior to 6/18. If I have not heard from you for certain by the end of April, I will be trying to contact everyone on the sign up list via PM or email. If you'd like to check out the hotel go to www.sandsregency.com. And seriously, if anyone has any other ideas, please let me know. Right now we have 10 individuals (plus guests) signed up on the list. If you all want a Sands room, that only leaves room for one more, unless I need to get more rooms. PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Thanks all
