SVX PPG Pace Car on display at Simone Museum :)
This was Posted to the SVX Nation group in Facebook. I think it might make a really good group drive from the Reading meet. It runs a while so if you want to see the Pace Car, take ride to Philly.
http://www.simeonemuseum.org/ NEW SPECIAL EXHIBIT – SUBARU: THE BEAUTY OF ALL-WHEEL DRIVE: APRIL 16 – MAY 1 2016 The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is hosting “Subaru: The Beauty of All-Wheel Drive”, a Special Exhibit from April 16th – May 1st to kick off the 2016 season. This exhibit will feature a select group of approximately 18 road-going and competition cars from Subaru’s history. Access to the exhibit is included in the standard General Admission ticket price of $12, and is of course free for all Simeone Museum members. Headlining this exhibit (subject to change) will be several special cars direct from the historical archives of Subaru of America, headquartered in nearby Cherry Hill, NJ: 1968 360 1978 BRAT 1980 GL Wagon “Cyclops” 1991 XT 1991 SVX Indy Pace Car 1996 Impreza Colin McRae Replica 1998 Impreza 22B

I couldn't even generate interest in getting a private tour of the Performance Attic in Cherry Hill. Complaints about Too far, traffic and construction around Philly sucked, too much time, etc. Hope you have better luck with this one. Would have to be a Saturday convoy, as it closes at 6 on Fridays. Just show up. The Attic thing required more planning and restrictions I'll just arrange to see the Attic on my own in early summer.

Any one know what PPG colours they painted the pace car - looking to repaint a model to "best match"

1995 LSI, Added the following - Gear Firm-Up unit (that I sell) together with Power TCU ROM & Power switch, K&N air filter, SVX side badges (USA type), Rear Deck Blower (JDM type), Side front markers (USA type), Side rear markers (USA type), Middle rear light (USA type), USA OEM Fog Lights fitted into NZ OEM glass (NZ OEM headlights had only reflectors fitted) Full set of yellow (90SH) Polish bushes includes 15 min mod, R1 Concepts drilled/slotted/gold finish rotors & Red covered braided brake lines (both from Dayle at Motorsport warehouse), EBC Redstuff brake pads. Full SVX bra (only used for shows). Koni adjustable inserts fitted inside OEM strut body, Zoom lowering springs (2" lower), OEM headlight washers fitted.

Google Maps says it's an hour drive one way from Morgantown. Turnpike/76 to 476 South, then I95 North to 291. Not exactly picturesque but traffic should not be a problem on the weekend. (I would not recommend staying on 76 and going through Philly on a Saturday afternoon.)
