Radiators
Anyone have word on when Motorsports is supposed to get theirs in? I was told late December , still hasn't happened. Kills me that my car is just sitting in the driveway over what should be a $200 ( at best) part. One at Subaru for $395 is looking better by the day!

Re: Radiators
THIS SHOWED UP ON THE SVXWWN FACEBOOK PAGE
This came from the facebook page. Something even I may be interested in. Not as versatile as the PWR with the heavier ATF cooler,. But a drop in and another source of availability,. with cheaper price and a better quality than OEM ****GROUP BUY**** To all: I have talked with AMR and they are willing to put together a group buy for an aluminum radiator for the 1992-1997 SVX for us at $325.00 shipped!!! They will need 20 people to go into this with 50% down payment. Andy from AMR also had this to say: If you can get a group buy going, have them pay 50 percent down, and allow us 8 weeks to produce them then we can do it. It will take us about 3-4 weeks to prepare the jig, and do some testing, then 4 weeks to produce. This would be a stock copy, meaning it will have all the mounts, and etc to use your factory hardware. Let me know who all is interested and hopefully we can get the 20 people needed to make this happen! More information to follow

Re: Radiators
As long as the top tank is all aluminum, this is a great deal. Just an aluminum core and another plastic top mayhave the same point of failure as our OEM
Unless there are more technologically-substantial plastics available for high pressure-high heat applications. Maybe they will have an aluminum tank as an option .

Re: Radiators
Well, my crappy OEM one only lasted 18 years, but, I can have one in a week.I personally think one from a 2005 Legacy 3.6 could work.My theory is....use the upper rad. Hose from the Legacy, drop the lower mounts an inch.Relocate the upper mounts, change fans out.

Re: Radiators
Well, it can all be done for around $250,but if I can find a rad with the same height, just bolt a crossing bar from lower mount to lower mount and drill the holes for the mounting stems and only relocate the top mounting brackets.Once again, in theory, about an hours work if it does indeed line up. hood clearance will be the key then.Just sounded better than $450 (plus) and rads. Would be available practically endlessly.
