Ben and I invested in a 9 sec. street legal drag car to flip. Turbo charged Chevy V8 built on a 1980 Pontiac Sunbird platform. Great original stock body and trim, everything else built up for the track, and at least $4k less than build cost. Day 3 and hood pins shear at 80 mph with hood smashing windshield, bending top and windshield frame, and hinges tearing out of cowl. Thankfully, Ben only had minor cuts from the flying glass.

Slap on head, I could have had an SVX.

PS: It purred like a kitten at idle and roared on acceleration just like Ben and Dave's SVX racer.
