Arrow Beautiful 97 Ebony Pearl SVX for sale

Location of the SVX: Charleston, SC
Year: 1997
Model: SVX LSi
Paint Color: Ebony Pearl
Interior Color: Tan
Miles:154,000
Options: LSi (Spoiler, etc.)
AWD or FWD: AWD

Modifications: Legacy Outback 5-Speed Swap, Buddy club p1sf wheels in 17x7.5, Pioneer audio throughout and sub, cone filter intake
Engine Condition: Runs like a sewing machine!
Transmission condition: Needs a new clutch, can be fixed cheap. Shifts and drives amazingly good.
Glass condition: Pristine, tinted.
Type of tire and remaining tread: Triangle Talon Summer tires.
Type of wheels: Buddy Club P1SF in Gunmetal Grey.
Interior condition: Awesome!
Body condition: Rust in the usual places, but not bad at all.
Known defects or problems: Needs a new clutch, new motor mounts and trans mount would be a good idea. Exhaust has NO CAT, but with an o2 spacer, won't throw a code.
Comments about the car: An absolute blast to drive, quick, shifts great, and runs well. No stalling issues. I've just got too much money in it to continue doing this, so have to let her go.

Asking price: $3500 - Buyer picks up with dolly, or pays shipping. Clutch is slipping, so I wouldn't advise driving it on the highway.

MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER, and I'll consider it!

How long did the clutch last? Was it a new one when you did the swap?Sounds like a good deal. Did you change the ECU?

Clutch was new during swap, made the mistake of getting a cheap clutch, thus it went out due to being unable to hold stock power of SVX. ECU is stock 97 obd2 ecu.

I was told the CEL will stay on because the ECU thinks it is still an Auto when you do the swap to a 97????????

No, it's only OBD2 cars. And there is no way to stop it. It relys on communication from the TCU. It does not cause any issues with performance.

It also won't pass inspection if you have a visual inspection. Theres no center cat, due to rust. I welded in a Y, a bung, and its straightpiped from there back.
However, an O2 spacer will fix this so it doesn't throw a code. As for the OBD light due to auto trans ecu missing, well, there's NO fix for that.

Exhaust is half done, good all the way to just behind rear diff, was in the process of obtaining a new vibrant muffler, but ran out of cash.

As for the thing over the radio, well that's my flash drive!

Re: Beautiful 97 Ebony Pearl SVX for sale

I've decided to put her on ebay tomorrow, and let her be up for sale until February. I figure if anyone's gonna buy her, it will be after taxtime. If I have nothing by then, then I guess I will have no choice but to part her out, and scrap the shell.

Oliver, that's not going to help sell the car....
