Windshield And Other Parts Needed

I NEED A WINDSHIELD FOR MY 92 SVX i would also be very interested in a black rear spoiler and 17 or 18 inch wheels!!!!!! also a gray leather power drivers seat or any carbonfiber or aluminum dash kits!!!!!!

I don't know how much luck you'll have finding a used windshield.... and it will be a big risk to ship. Most salvage yards will only sell a windshield local.

I just looked a Subaruparts.com and they show the windshield is available.... but you'll need a big bank roll..... over $1000.00 with shipping..... and then you'll need to have it installed. However, the last time I bought parts from them they were shipped from a Subaru dealer in Washington (they may be close, could save on the shipping?).

i know i have been having so much trouble finding one, i recieved the SVX as my 16th birthday present three months ago and i bought with the windshield as is thinking that i would just get a new one. I probably called every auto glass place and looked in every junk yard and no luck yet! Whats worse is everytime i break it seems to crack more, it's already alot worse then when i bought it. My uncle used to work for a subaru dealership and said he rarely saw an SVX but talked to his friend and the cheapest i could get a new windshield for is $850 but that doesn't include shipping and installation so I'm running out of ideas! Thanks for your reply!! I appriciate it!!!

Now Glass - $850.00 sounds pretty good. I had a few places quote me more than that. I think I would go with that price. Do you have glass insurance on the car? Good Luck.

850 does sound good, there is a junk yard around western washington that has a few svx, but im not sure if they have any windshields. Now if I could remember the name I might not be completely useless, Earl do you know the one I'm talking about? Brian mentioned it when we went to the southcenter meet. They have volkswagon and subaru parts. By the way, whatever happened to Brian, and Jerry and all the other people from the southcenter meet and the one after it. Any word on them?

I think everyone flew south for the summer. Everything has been very quiet. I hope we start to see some activiety from the rest of the people this fall.
