Recommendations on new head unit

Could everyone who has replaced their stereo, please reply with the brand and model number you got. I'm currently looking to replace the factory stereo system with a Double Din head unit. Right now, I'm looking at this:

But want to see what others purchased before making any final decision.

Thanks!

EDIT: This is interesting. Also found this little tidbit. Any thoughts?

Mine's an Alpine 7873 and I really like it because it sounds awesome and matches the interior as well

Maybe I'll go with a single DIN unit. One question tho Earthworm. Where did you get the compartment that is underneath your stereo?

You can get that unit from most of the stores (BB/CC etc.) You can also get it as a Suby part from SOA (ask for legacy single din cover)

This is what I have:

Sorry about that crap on the carpet.

The installers put it in for me. On the invoice it said it was a Toyota part. I'm fairly certain that any car audio store should be able to get one for you as they are a fairly standard part.
