92 LS power steering line help

Please tell me if the 2 lines shown in the picture are threaded in the right location on the pinion housing.. These are the lines that go from the pinion housing to the rack, and since the connectors are the same size at the pinion housing, they could be reversed at the pinion housing.

Would the power steering work at all if these lines were in the wrong location at the pinion housing.
