94 SVX owners, I need your help!!
I want to establish when the 94s changed over from auto seat belts to manual seat belts as well as when they added the passenger air bag.
Please list the following informaton: VIN: or last 4 numbers Manufactures Date: (found on the plate on drivers side door post) Seat belt system: auto or manual Air bag system: driver only, or drivers and passenger Trim: L, LS or LSi Drive: AWD or FWD Color: Miles: Thank you for your help. This should establish when these changes took place.

Here is the area we are interested in now. Number 1383 has auto seat belts and only one air bag and number 1440 has manual belts and both air bags. Both of these cars were built in October of 93. We need to find the info on any cars between those number now.
maynardg and VICSVX are members here that have numbers between the ones we have identified as the switch point. I have PMed them but if any one knows them or any one has a VIN between those numbers, I would like to know about yours. Thanks for your help.

Is it a possibility that the "lesser" trim levels were switched over last? Meaning that they used the "new" style parts as soon as they were available in the more expensive (LSi) models, and phased out the remaining auto belts and passenger airbag delete parts in the L and LS cars?
If this is the case, then the production number won't tell the whole story...

I just got some more info on this. On the list of 94s, I have narrowed it down to someplace between VICSVX's L model which is #1393 and has auto seat belts and the drivers only air bag and Sov13t's LSi which is #1440 with manual seat belts and the additional passenger air bag.
I can't get any closer to it until I have someone else give me their details.

Year: 1994 Trim: L Drive: FWD Color: Ebony Mica Manufacture Date:03-94 Current mileage: 141,187 no auto seat belts O also did have a factory sun roof and it was an L trim also i did have another 94 svx vin jf1cx3352rk103252 drive fwd color laguna blue trim L no auto seat belts don't have the date sold the car awhile ago
