has anyone built a 3750?

Does anyone know if it would be possible to overbore the 3300 to accept pistons from a 2.5rs turbo? I remember reading a long time ago that the 2.5 was an overbored 2.2 and with a rather healty aftermarket following for 2.5rs turbocharging, why not use the equipment provide by the SVX's sisters.
also, I was looking on ebay and found this nifty little machine, could any of the engineers out there tell me if it's worth a hoot?

Thanks,

Hmmm...

Interesting idea... I think it was '98 and earlier 2.5 RS that had the bored over 2.2... or maybe just pre '98. I knew when I was seriously considering one but I can't remember now. Then they redesigned it since the bored over one was a little weaker... thinner walls. Would be worried about boosting that bored over engine. However, it would be pretty cool to bore ours' over for (hopefully) a little bit more power. I think the stroke length is different, though, isn't it? Maybe just use the 2.5 aftermarket heads.

Hopefully someone knows a bit more. I am bettin' that that blower thing is a bunch of crap. Hey, if you could find anybody who tried one with possitive results, I supposed it would be kinda cool. Cheap extra 20 horses if it could do it.

if is sounds to good to be true, then it probably is. there is no way in hell that thing can produce 20 extra horses.
