Modifications: autostarter, clear corners, Optima Red Top Battery (3 months old), JVC EXAD mp3/DVD headunit, Scorpion Rims (same size as stock rims), window switch from a '92 (i wanted the "auto up" feature... the 97 switch is available as well if you want me to swap them back), washable fram air filter (just use soap and water and let dry...)

Major service: replaced the washer fluid pump week after i got it, the exhaust had been patched by previous owner... passed nh inspection last sept.

Engine Condition: no problems

Maintenance Records: only maintainence ive had to do was oil changes (every 3 months... i put, on average, under 100 miles a week on her) and she just got new brake pads... and the battery.

Transmission condition: shifts perfectly

Glass condition: windshield crystal clear... no chips or cracks, drivers side glass has that light scuffing that seems common in svx's

Type of tire and remaining tread: yokohama AVID V4, 75-80% or better

Type of wheels: stock sized Scorpion Alloy. no warping, paint blemishing near the center caps

Interior condition: better than average... no tears.. some slight steering wheel wear

Body condition: 8 out of 10...actually better than average for a 10 year old 100k+ car... the paint will make it a 9.5... i jsut want to prevent suprises

Known defects or problems: slight fading on the plastic (mirrors and below back windows) the exhaust had been patched by previous owner, there was some door blistering at the edge of the pannels that will need attention, there are some scuff marks on the corners of the back bumper, and a small ding (dimish-size) jsut above the rear bumper pass side corner...

Comments about the car:

it has brand new pads, but will need new rotors soon.

i have the oem paint to fix the "door cancer" and the plastic. the paint will go with the car... if it doesnt sell here i will have the doors and plastic painted and put new rotors in it and raise the price $2,000 or so then put it on autotrader.

i also have one jdm hood badge in both gold and silver. ill throw in color of choice to anyone who wants to buy it.

i also have a complete alluminum dash kit i can swap to the car if someone wants it, no charge.

Asking price: $8,500/BRO (am also willing to accept a rodeo sport/isuzu amigo in partial trade)



i figure id give someone the oppertunity to do whatever rotor set up and paint set up if they want to do custom


inspection ready as she sits, ready to be driven home.

im selling her because my better half wont let me have 3 svx's (i was supposed to have sold the black one before getting this red one... we know how that goes ) and now that im doing an svx show car (why im seeking a low milage '97) shes making me find a new home for this one as well.

ive had her a year, bought her from a dealer in burlington VT i usually drive less than 12 miles a day (work is only 5.5 miles away) and weve been not taking her out on the weekends (baby seat is in the van)... she is 100% inspection ready and your welcome to come take her for a spin.

i was going to do the japanese 3 tone style paint (only using black on red on black instead of greytones) then i got the subaru oem paint to just make her pretty and red... and i figure id sell the paint with the car and let someone go custom if they want (toss on some high performance brakes and a stebro and paint up as they wish)


ill entertain any interesting offer

(and with any luck now that the volvo and previa are gone, she will change her mind again and let me keep her as a daily driver)
