Help! My Brakes Are Gone
I HAD A LEFT FRONT BRAKE HOSE BREAK SOO I ORDERED THE NEW ONE AND REPLACED IT I BLED THE LINE AND WHEN I TOOK IT FOR A DRIVE I STILL HAD ABOUT AS MUCH PEDAL AS I DID WHEN THE LINE WAS BROKE SO I JACKED IT BACK UP AND CHECKED THE FRONT RIGHT LINE FOR AIR AND IT SEEMED FINE SO, THEN THE BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON, SO I ATTEMPTED TO PULL OUT OF MY CAR PORT AND ALMOST PLOWED INTO MY WIFE'S BRAND NEW CAR BECAUSE NOW I HAVE NO BRAKES AT ALL.
cOULD ANYNE TELL ME WHAT I DID WRONG OR WHAT TO CHECK. THAKS GUYS I APPREICIATE IT. |

But seriously.....
Did you check the brake fluid reservoir? Try bleeding the entire system. The factory specified way to bleed our brakes is starting with the Rear (Primary) port on the ABS unit (closest to the firewall), then the Front (Secondary) port. After that it is: Front Passenger wheel, Rear Driver wheel, Front Driver wheel, Rear Passenger wheel.

![]() Bleeding is good. Don't recycle the fluid you get from the bleed tho. Gotta check the Resevoir after the bleed to make sure it's not all gone. Really low would do it too, because the rubber membrane is now creating a vacuum instead of a push.
