where to get a 97 grill
Can I just call up Subaru and order a 97 grill. I didn't get any different part numbers off the net, so I don't want to order one that is the same as my 92 and not be able to send it back because it was an ordered item.
Anyone have a part number for the 97 grill that I may cross reference with? thanks

I bought one from Liberty Subaru for about $135 plus shipping. Ordered over the internet. Shipped very quickly UPS ground, I think. Will install when I get the car repainted.

If there's a chrome shop nearby it may be worthwhile to have the '97 grille chromed vs buying a JDM unit

plasic chromming has been done since 60s. i dnt think it hard to plastic chrome

A chrome grill on the SVX looks way too gaudy to me. I will say that the chrome over plastic on my truck was nice for 5+ yrs, but is now pulling away and looks like cancer! If you like chrome then do it, I am glad the 97 grill come ready to paint. What are they made out of BTW, ABS?
