1994 SVX For Sale!
I am absolutely in love with this car and I hate to part with it, but I am going to grad school in NY and I don't need two cars. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to answer them!
Year: 1994 Model: SVX Color: 2DR Red (Barcelona Red is what it says on the original manual) Miles:135,000 Location: Wyoming, MI AWD or FWD: I honestly don't know. Modifications: None Major service: I just (as of a few days ago) replaced the timing belt, water pump, both sets of brake pads and rotors. I also had the front bumper replaced this year (due to someone backing into me with their trailer hitch). Maintenance Records: I have records of all the work that I have done on the car since I have owned it, but I don't have the records from the previous owner. Transmission condition: No known problems. Glass condition: Good. There is slight peeling on the inside of the driver's window. Type of tire and remaining tread: Nexen Radial N2000 on front- fairly new, good remaining tread. Kelly Charger on rear- midlife, worn tread. Interior condition: Fair. Carpet is slightly stained and there is a cigarette burn on one of the seats from the previous owner. There is also a missing visor on the passenger side, and it looks like glue residue on the ceiling where the visor used to be. Body condition: Paint is beginning to oxidize. There are no dings or dents in the body, but there is a scratch in the hood from the previous owner and there are light surface scratches on the rear bumper. Slight rust on both doors where the two panels meet. Known defects or problems: One of the wires to the rear speakers was cut by the previous owner. I still get great sound out of the remaining speakers, but it would take some work to fix this. The antennae is also stuck. Pictures: Pictures are forthcoming. Promise. Comments about the car: This has been my everyday car for the last year and I have taken exceptional care of it. It has gotten a top-line oil change every 30,000 miles and has been given only premium gas since I have owned it. It runs like a dream and I will miss it terribly. Asking price: $3500 |

One additional thing...
I forgot to mention that I also added a new cd player to the car when I got it. The player is a Sony Xplod 52WX4, and that will also be coming with the car. Also, there are V12 decals added to the back of both sides of the car (another addition from the previous owner- I have no idea why). They should come off easily but I haven't tried out of fear for the paint job.

A VIN would tell you whether it is 2 or 4WD. Also you could look under the car. You would also have better luck with a few pictures. Good luck on the sale.

Update
There isn't a cigarette burn in the seat, but rather when I removed the seat cover there was a tear in the driver seat.

Since its a '94 L model (cloth seats) its most likely FWD.

Requested info
It is, in fact, FWD! Thank you so much for the recommendation- it was really easy to find once I typed in the vin. Speaking of, the vin number is JF1CX3357RK103568. Hope that helps!

Price Lowered!
I have just had another Subaru fall into my lap and I need to sell my SVX quickly. I was offered a trade-in for the car, but I would rather give it to someone that is an SVX enthusiast than to a salesman. I am dropping the price of my SVX to $3000, but it will be gone, one way or another, by next Tuesday. Please reply if you are interested- thanks again!
