Wanted: Stock CD Player

If i can find mine (hopefully my dad didnt throw it out). Granted it doesn't work too well....but if you REALLY want it, I can see if i can find it.

Seemed like yours was working fine at reading, whats the prob?

Some kinda CD player virus??? Mine died a short while before the Reading meet I kept the face plate and board behind it incase anyone needs them. The board is the part that the lights are on. Have a light out or a big nasty scratch on the face plate...........email me

Mine is working great. I would like to put one in my Legacy. A lot of people here have upgraded to aftermaket systems and I was hoping I could pick one up here. I am pretty sure both cars use the same one.

Well, I found it...but my parents said i should save it in case (NEVER) I decide to sell my SVX, i can swap the stock back in and transfer my Rockford into my new car.

If you can wait a couple of more weeks, I'll sell you mine from the 92 real cheap. It works but once in a while, it spits out the cd and I have to put it back in.

I was hoping to find one that worked without fixing it, but I am flexible if the price is right(free).

I don't know if the CD unit will work in a Legacy or not, but I know the head unit won't work as they have different connections in the back of the head units.
the SVX has a different connection than all the other Subarus, but I believe the aux. connection for the CD player is the same on both.

car-parts.com has many used cd players for the svx. i got my replacement there for $75, works great.
