new england area svx wanted, i have cash in hand

im looking for an inspectible road ready svx i live in NH and dont mind going anywhere in new england to get it. may go further for the right car/offer. i have a broken one so some defects wont dq it if i can replace the part easy enough. i am willing to pay plus echange my car, i have tires and a stereo so dont worry about that

Check eBay, they had one or two in your area for about 2K, last I looked.

i saw the one in stowe vt, (the black) with the optional trannie instal for an extra price...... i wasnt impressed.

i saw a green 94 the other day with SERIOUS door rot... ive never seen an svx with rusted through doors, i wanted to cry..... i could put my fingers through the door the guy started it and power steering fluid was spraying the ground,the engine was corroding... the pant was blistering all over and the trim on the doors were jsut barely held on by that rust.... windshield was spiderwebbed it apparently happened while it was parked in the back yard, the interior was not bad... had a cracked rim, it had been sitting for 6 months... was buried in snow... has 110k or so on it... he wanted 2500 for it... i offered him a $1000 just so i can cutthe radiator support out and put it in my 94 then put the poor thing out of its misery.... letting an svx get in that condition should be compared to dropping an american flag on the ground... that poor car needs to be burned than buried it was never in an accident... carfax is clean... it was jsut so seriously neglected

the worst part was the guy is a mechanic for a local subaru dealership

he got upset that i wasted his time looking atthe car when i wasnt gonna buy it... he said all it needed a windshield, some paint work and a rear brake line

the others in the area are red.... i dont want a red one, unless its at a price that makes an extra $1500-$2000 worth giving it a color change

Check your email (rayg, right?). Let's talk. My car is in much much better condition than those. Much. And it has a 4.44 Outback transmission with 25,000 miles on it. One problem: I can't find the faceplate for my Alpine. I'll keep digging, but I do have the original stereo. I may have to interrogate the kids...

gor me a new one... may get another one as well (cant have too many...just ask earl) stereos dont concern me, nor do paint or interior cosmetics (i do custom), so long as its good computer wise and drives like it should. brakes tires rotors struts and stuff arent a concern really
