Want a 4.11/4.44 rear diff with LSD??

Great, don't we all?? Anyway. I have been able to come across a couple LSD units so that means I can do some rear swaps for people. Just send me your new 4.11/4.44 rear that is open and I will swap over the new carrier with LSD and ship it back to you. Just pay shipping both ways and make sure you give me your stock rear back after you finish your trans swap (auto or 5mt). This allows for a 100% bolt in rear with the desired gear ratio and limited slip. This service will cost $50 plus the cost of shipping. Let me know if you are interested

You all had better jump on this. It would have saved me a bunch of time and a little bit of money.

Agreed. This will also help members who encounter shops that don't want to do the rear diff swap. Everything will be straight-forward and completely plug-n-play with this service Tom is offering...

PM sent. It should only take a day or two for me to actually swap the diff and get it shipped. The longest part will be waiting for shipping

Tom,

Are you saying that these are the last pieces of the puzzle that I would need to have one of my XT6s be 4.44? If so, call me TONIGHT or anything this weekend. PM me.....lets get this done.

Edit: Sorry, I was thinking the 4.44 rear came with it since I have the fronts. Pay no mind to me. My bad!

Kevin. It is not hard to find a 4.44 rear. Just ask SVXfiles I am sure he can point you in the right direction. Also try and call some junk yards, I am sure there are some floating around.

If my car could be out of commission for that long, I'd do it.

Thats the point of this service. This way you can send me yoour 4.44 diff, I will ship it back with an LSD carrier installed, and when you finish you trans swap, send your old 3.54 diff back to me so I can take the LSD unit out of that. Pretty simple and straight forward

If I could actually get the diff out of my car and if I was willing to let my car out of service that long...then again, I don't have anything to trade you except money. I only have a 4.11 open dif I wish was LSD...

Well since I have 2 LSD units I could part with one. I also have a link to a 4.11 R160 if I needed to get to it. But the LSD is kinda pricey since no one is really paying for it... Just trading mine for theirs

Anyway, if you want to come out here I can do the rear swap before you get here, just pop by, swap in the new diff, and have you one your way in a little over an hour. It is up to you, shoot me a PM and we can discuss it if you are interested. This is for your Leg. right?? Just wanna make sure they are using the same R160?

I have no idea if it's an R160. Unfortunately, I don't know if my parents would appreciate a trip to NJ...It would make a nice day trip though.

What would the cost be on a LSD and labor?

I am trying to sort out rear diff issue that you mentioned in a different thread, could you tell me the crown & pinion teeth number on your standard units please. If needed could I purchase a crown wheel & pinion from you for 3.9.
