How Far Have You Gone for Your SVX

I am curious if everyone is so deeply in love with their SVX as I am. I have done a great amount of driving for my svx but not nessecarily in it. Just list ur distances with a short story.

1. 400 miles to Long Island for a fwd auto trans
2. 1600 miles to get my 5mt
3. 600 miles to Pittsburgh for 2 5mt transmissions
4. 300 miles to Brooklyn for a new engine for my 5mt

Thats just a basic layout of my long trips. I have at least 2k to and from parts stores and dealers for parts. So all together I have about 4900 miles of driving just for my SVX.

1. 340 miles round trip for the 2 meets that you hosted

2. A trip to philly a few times for phillies, eagles, sixers games...

most of my driving is city driving...i put about 30-50 miles on it daily.

I did a round trip of over 850 miles to get my SVX. 425 there in my friend's Jeep, and 425 back solo in the SVX. That's the longest (and sadly, only) trip in my SVX so far. Must get through stupid import inspections, grrrrr.

I went out on 2600 mile limb for my SVX. Having never driven one, I bought it sight unseen and shipped it to Hawaii.

1 Oklahoma City OK to home - 2,100 miles
2 Chicago IL to Lafayette to home - 2,600 miles (10th Anniversary Meet)
3 Columbus OH to home - 2,500 miles
4 Kansas City MO to home - 2,000 miles
5 Los Angles CA to home - 1,200 miles
6 Lynwood WA to home - 60 miles
7 San Francisco CA to home - 900 miles
8 Home to Beaverton OR to home - 750 miles

total miles 12,110

and I would do it again in a heart beat!

For my 92 I flew down to Vegas and drove 1500 miles (and loved every one of them) home to Saskatchewan. On June 17th I'm going to Moosic, PA to get my 93 - 1850 miles.

Home to Sacramento, CA to Home----1900 miles
Home to Denver to Home----780 miles
Home to Atlanta to Home----2800 miles
(added) Tacoma, WA to home----1520 miles

Think there might be a couple more but can't remember right now. You know how the mind goes with age.

I went 3.5k miles to go to the meet in Reno (granted going from Seattle to Reno by way of Moab wasn't exactly a short-cut).

Had a 3 day weekend. Flew out of Indy on Saturday morning. Changed planes in Denver. Arrived in Portland to get on a twin engine to Redmond. Ice storm was passing through so the flight was cancelled. Rented a car and drove through the storm to Redmond, took about 5 hours. Met the sellers niece at the Redmond airport, dropped off the rental and went to the sellers home. Exchanged cash and keys and went to some dept store 'cause the airlines lost our luggage. Back in Indiana 35 hours and 2200 miles later.

I'd never even seen an SVX up close and personal, but only had mine delivered 300 miles. Not the brightest idea, but I got lucky in that the price was right, the car was solid and incredibly, the dealer made good on my complaints.
