Tempted...

This morning my wife was very late for work. Her first class was in 50 minutes, we live a half-hour from her school and she had to finish getting ready. I was very worried that she'd drive to fast or in an otherwise unsafe manner. It has been warm (40s) and raining, so there is little salt on the roads right now.

Needless to say, I was VERY tempted to wake up the SVX and take her to work myself at 90mph or faster. This is a do what I say, not what I do. As a man, I reserve the right to consider myself a better driver than my wife. Not better in terms of following rules, but being able to break them safely.

Alas, she has a meeting later this afternoon at another school, so she needed her car.

Poo. I guess I'll still have to wait until Spring. I even have the first drive planned. I based it on childhood memories of the family taking an evening post-dinner drive to Dairy Queen in my mom's Mustang convertible. The SVX may not be a convertible, but it's still a flashy, fast and RED car.
