I have one, but it's a FWD model. About 19,000 miles on it. Of course, if you are AWD, then I will continue to have a FWD model.

I have one....

Hi, I have an automatic All Wheel Drive tranny from a 1994 SVX. I has 4,612 miles on it after the rebuild. It's was a back up tranny for my fathers SVX, but he no longer needs it since he has sold his 97' lsi last month. The price is $ 995.00 USD plus shippping. Please let me know if it's of interest to you.

It's too bad that you are in San Diego, instead of the Northern California in your location (profile). We have a transmission which MIGHT fit your needs. I found an JDM STi transmission that was used as the test mule for the Forester XT in the United States. It is an AWD transmission (obviously). It has less than 2K on it, and consists of a 4.11 transmission, TCU, torque convertor, and 4.11 rear differential.

It's sitting in a crate, waiting for the right offer.

I wasn't aware of any STi automatic transmissions. Could you elaborate further on what this transmission is and where it came from? Is it a 4eat or a 5eat? Do you know the gear ratios?

Let's see...

I'll see if I can post pics of this animal to make a few believers...

I'll be back soon with the evidence.

If any of you know Subie Gal, she can vouch for the numbers being JDM, and I picked it up from someone who used to work in the R&D in Irvine (Subaru Corporate). This is guaranteed to fit the Forester platform, however I've heard that Forester transmissions fit the SVX.

Not doubting that its a Subaru auto tranny. Just never seen nor heard of an STi auto tranny. Love to see pictures. If you can get a picture of the ID tag near the front of the tranny, that would be great.

Just wondering if you've heard of the Legacy B4...

what kind of transmission does that have??

Of course there are others, but that's the first example I can come up with.

How much?

See the final line above your response...

I'm looking for offers on this unicorn. Otherwise, I'm inclined to keep it as a spare should my SVX need one. I'd have to do an AWD conversion at the same time, though.

It would also fit in the Forester XT sitting next to SViXen who tends to be a little drag racing monster...

It doesn't ALL have to be cash, either. Think of creative mods...
