Another 10K

Went out to my car to go to lunch this afternoon (actually, to go to the local Lowe's to pick up a faucet. I pretty much destroyed my kitchen faucet last night when it wouldn't stop leaking, even after I'd replaced the washers -- in a washerless faucet). I just happened to look down at the odo: 169999. I watched as it rolled over to 170000, just when I entered the parking lot of the bank to go through the ATM. That's about 61,000 miles since Aug. of '99. Whodathunk I still wouldn't be tired of this car yet.

Ahhh, yes, I remember the good old days of 170,000 miles on the odometer...

I better find a way to drive further every day or I'm not gonna get a F.A.T. L.I.P. at the 10th anny meet for the highest mileage.

You guys make me feel better. Here I thought I had already used up my SVX's best years. But it looks like I'll be enjoying it for many, many years.
