WANTED: Cup Holder and Sun Visor Driver's Side

I have a 1994 Subaru SVX LS. I am in search of two things:

1. The factory cup holder which sits inside the center console between the seats.
2. The driver's side sun visor (mine flops down). The visor is gray in color. I am only interested in one that does not flop down on its own and that is gray.

If you have either of these and would like to part with them, please e-mail me at Steve@Cherifi.US.

I am willing to pay $20 each including shipping. Let me know...

Thank you,
-Steve

I would too!

Welcome to the site.

You had better sit down before I tell you this. I just saw one of the OEM cup holders go for $45.00 + ship and handling of $15.00.

You may be able to get a floppy visor for $20.00, but probably not a good one for that. They are usually 2 to 3 X that. You could always go new for $110.00.

I am not trying to be a Smart A$$, but just telling it like it is.
Good Luck.

Wow, I thought they were rare but I had no idea! I just tried bidding on a cup holder on ebay and it went for $44 + $7 shipping. I was the winning bidder at $43 but then I was thinking to myself "I'm about to pay $50 for a cup holder!!!!!!" So happily someone else sniped me at the last second (literally) and paid $44 + $7 shipping for it. Oh well, I guess I should revise my original proclamation to this:

I'll pay $30 + shipping for the cup holder.

<I don't think a sun visor is worth $100+ so my $20 offer still stands on that....>

Someone needs to start fabricating their own SVX cup holders... maybe machine some aluminum ones.... then they'd be worth $50 apiece!

Thanks for the welcome... I've been a Subaru nut for about 12 years; I've owned three XT6's and an XT before (but finally got a hold of an SVX a couple months ago).

Take care,
-Steve

Ft. Wayne. Did you get it from a local guy there?

I just read that you got your SVX recently.

You are very welcome to the Network Steve.

Enjoy your car, the rest of us sure do.

We need more Subaru and SVX nuts around here, all we can get.

We've got a Dr Evil sort of world domination plan on the boil.

Has anyone made a cup holder that doesn't sit by the elbow in between the seats...... I would be more comfortable with on at arms reach, so I don't knock anything over....perhaps some kind of bracket to attach to the dash somehow.....anyone agree with me?...........I hate reaching sideways or behind me to grab my drink.

I believe you can also get a cup holder to fit in the empty DIN if you have an aftermarket stereo or no CD player.

Cup holder

They have those flip up cupholders on ebay, they are kinda ugly though. They are black with a Subaru in chrome....kinda cheesy. They could mount on the side of the console I guess.

It must be so.

I have a '97 Legacy, and I am certain that the cupholder could be made to fit the DIN socket with two screws and a litle bit of aptitude.

Although the door would not close, unless the outer panel was taken off.

Could be done, though.

I made minor modifications to a cupholer from a Legacy, to make it fit in the same spot as the original design. Work s and looks as good as the original without the cost, less than $5.
