SVX possibly for sale

Well, its about that time.I am in love with my svx but i may be forced to sell. As hard as it is i need something more reliable, easier to fix and stick! I havent yet decided to sell or not but i want to see how much i can be offered. I would much rather sell the car as a whole than part, but i need to make a decent down payment on a different car if i do decide to sell.note, mods can be taken out and replaced with factory equivalents if desired. please everyone let me know how much you think i could get or if you are interested make an offer. here goes

Vehicle Exterior Condition:
Pretty decent paint. one small rust spot on the drivers rear 1/4
Paint on hood fading, will try buffing for potential buyer if wanted
Small dent on right front 1/4. Easily can be popped out
Car in one small accident but no frame damage, only a a scrape on rear bumper.
Rest of paint shiny and looking new

Interior Condition
Leather Interior
Drivers side leather with normal wear, no rips
Passenger Side leather Nearly perfect
Rear seat great condition, no rips
"Escaine" drivers side with normal wear, passenger side great, dash good and rear good
floor mats worn, but car would come with brand new mats only used twice

Mechanical Condition
Differential shot, needs to be replaced
"New" used motor with 85000 miles bought and installed only 3 months ago
Rear wheel bearing making noise, only started about 1 month ago.
An exhaust rattle i cant seem to fix.
Shifts wonderfully

Water pump replaced at time of motor replacement

With that many miles on the clock, I'm thinking $2,000 would be a fair offer to get.

I would say the car would be worth much more than that. The only thing to really worry about is the tranny. Is it original? If it was replaced how long ago? Have the struts leaked out?

It should be possible to get $3000+ for this car with the stereo.

I honesylt have no idea of the transmission history. All i know is when we changed the engine, the flex plate looked like it was "tampered" with once before, so that meant to us either a new engine or tranny was preeviously installed.


well earthworm, thats what i was looking for. i could probably get even more if it werent for me removing my dvd player. If so desired, keeping the dvd player in the car would easily add an extra 500-800 to the buyers price.

Im really looking for someone to be interested. I still havent decided what i am doing, i love my car.....
