WTB: 93-95 AWD SVX in New England region

I tried to make the switch between my Impreza 2.5RS and an Audi 90 Quattro last winter, but ended up selling the Audi after a month because it just didn't handle or respond as well as the Impreza. Now I'm getting sick of driving 5-speed on the highway and want something more rare than the RS. So I'm turning to the SVX of course. I'm looking for a 93-95 for less than $6,000, under 110,000 miles. I will trade my 2000 Blue Ridge Pearl 2.5RS coupe for an SVX, plus the difference - I am willing to part with my RS for $7,000.00 (It has 135k commuter miles on it, second owner, all major work done by dealer, no accidents, minor performance parts). Plus you SVX guys seem to be much nicer people. My car is modified and can be seen at http://rmtaylor.webhop.org . If your car is for sale or would like to negotiate a trade, please email me or reply here. I'm local to Massachusetts. Thanks!

Ryan

Nice car. You should have no problem finding an SVX for that price, but the mileage may be an issue. Good Luck and Welcome!

hehe thanks, but it's just a stock RS hood. I was hoping to catch a bird in the scoop but it never happened...

Did you have your stock hood cut out to look like an STI hood?

Nope. All 1998-2001 2.5RS's had hood scoops and turbo vents on the hood (WRX's didn't get the vents, teehee). Though both the vents and scoop have removable block plates at the bottom making them non-functional - which was ok since we didn't have turbo engines. But they come in very useful when you do the WRX engine swap.
