I got a new starter!!

I Finally got a new starter. after 3 times of looking at my car, they finally decided it was that. it starts up so nice and everything. i love it. so i have a new batttery, starter, and alternator, so if my battery dies i may have to kill myself.....for the labor and the starter, it costed $250. is that good? i hope it is cuz my "dealer" said it was his again and i got a "special" price...lol

Well by looking on subaruparts.com they list the starter as either $404 or $122. I could change the starter in less than half an hour and I'm not a mechanic.

Either you're getting a really good deal or just an ok deal

$250 sounds like labour and diag. plus a starter. Its sounds to me like an OK deal.
I recall the Exhaust having to be pulled to drop the starter.

On an SVX You don't even have to get under the car, it's as easy as changing a fuel filter.
