January or febuary, any weekend except feb 8th.
There was a little bit of smoke coming from under my hood, right up at the top (toward the body of the car on the driver's side) but that was weeks ago and I haven't seen it since. I noticed it when I stopped driving, so I parked for an hour and it didn't reappear. Should I be worried?  Motivated me to buy a fire extinguisher.

maintenance meet
Any time after Christmas would be fine w/ me. On a weekend, probably? Let me know date when decided.
Do you want to know questions in advance, or just show up and bug you/look at stuff? Hey, ensteele, did I pass you saturday in Burlington?? I was green svx and someone honked in a red as they turned right... Rob:

Can I invite send my daughter and car down from Western and have her paint the center caps of her wheels? She is working weekends at Semiyamoo (sp?) so she may be a no show, depending on whatever date you set. She actually got into a pair of coveralls and swapped wheels at thanksgiving (snos on) and helped put on the Rola's that I bought, so she might be a good study. I know that you would treat her nicely.........

It will be on a Saturday, and an all day event. We will have a Bar B Q as well.
Rob - yes, that was me. It was great to see another one! Lets get together in the near future and talk. It would help if I know what you need done so we can have the parts here. I will post the jobs that we will do. Let me know what you need as well. Jenkin - yes, she can come down and we can do the wheel caps for her. It would be fun to have her come down and meet some of us while she is in the area. What color is the one she drives? I work in B'ham and see a few up there.

She drives a green/teal with the stock wing. Just realized that she has the secondary steel wheels with graspics on the car. I will have to UPS the centers to her (they come out of the wheel, yes). Still trying to decide whether to buy the 92 liquid silver/black SVX at the Yakima dealer. They dropped the price a grand and ran it as a weekend sale, no takers. My position gets better. The dealer here does not rebuild transmissions, and their fix is to get another transmission (from Aaron's in Seattle) and do the R&R.
Anyway, when you set a date, I will see if I can get her to come down and meet ya'all.
