Engine all most done
So it's about that time. Just wanted to know if anyone has fitted any other engines in our cars... As well as if we could put the 3.6 flat six in it or an 2.2 with the twin turbos?

Re: Engine all most done
With enough time and money anything's possible. I think the new H-6 would fit the SVX well. The nuts and bolts would probably fit fine (I think the EZ's have the same bellhousing as EJ's?), but I'm betting wiring would be a pain. Standalone might be the easiest way to get the engine running.

Re: Engine all most done
It's actually really easy to get an engine to fit in an svx engine bay.
The electronics are where the difficulty is.

The twin turbo was actually 2.0 I believe (only the US got a 2.2 turbo, all other markets were 2.0) and you would need to do major, major cutting of the subframe and probably still wouldn't work. The twin turbo cars had unique subframes. |
