Thanks to all for making this such a success......

Again, Tom and I would like to thank everyone who bought these kits from us. We have sold out all we had in stock, and Tom is contacting his distributor, Dave, today to make arrangements to pick up some more. If anyone wants 6000K's or 8000K's, let us know so we can be sure to have them on hand for fast shipping.

I'm not sure if you guys have heard about the permanent dividend fund here in Alaska, but since this year its at $1650 a person. I decided to take a paycheck and my dividend to fix my transmission. Once the car is running again be sure to expect me coming to you for a set of HID lights.

I just picked up four sets 5000K, 9006s,
one set of 6000K, 9006s,
one set of 8000k, 9006s for Carlos,
and two sets of 4300K, 9006s!
I'm putting 4300s in my Claret!
BTW, 4300K 9006s are now available.
More later,
Tom

Tom, you will not believe it, I just got my set like TODAY. The guy who came over a month ago, had your Kit shipped after him with his stuff (400lbs). Well they got lost for a month, I was about to order another one from you until the shipping company called 2 days ago throwing him the good news.

They are great man... but I will have to wait another 3 months before I am able to plug it in...

Got mine today. Quicker than expected

I think it took me longer to open the package than it will for me to install them They were wrapped up tighter than Fort Dix.

Thanks Tom!

P.S.- I think whoever revised the instruction manual was a little tired or drunk because it took me a while to decifer(sp?) alot of things.

Atleast we can make something out of it to understand, unlike some manuals that you get from china and those pacific rim countires

I bought some 43K units off a place on ebay. They are German units and they are way too crazy son of a hell a$$ bright! OT, I am sorry that I didn't buy from you, but what I bought was so much cheaper. I am taking a chance, but they are not china or korea lights, so I thought they are a good option for me.
For having such a low voltage they have tons of insulation and beefy wires.

The high beams are DOUBLE the light of the already awesum low beams!
After running with these highs, 12000 Lumens, its not daylight, but its GREAT!

However as Tim pointed out, when the high beams are first turned on, there is a delay, and a short warm up.
If you keep flashing back and forth from highs to lows, there is no delay.

On one hand the lows are so great that the high beams are not as needed, but once you try them, they are addictive.

John has 85 watt Silver Stars in his high beams, and says that they are not now that noticeable compared to his 5000K low beams...

I wonder if I can get some projection driving lights to run with my stock high beams, (on an auxilery switch of course.)

More later,
Tom
Hi Tom,

how do the beam pattern of reflective type of Hi-beams look like?? We bought a new 07 forester yesterday and I may wanna do a HID swap in it.

I'm due in for inspection soon. I'm assuming its a bad idea to leave them in before getting checked?

Mine arrived early, and sealed up with what must have been an entire roll of packing tape!

Thanks Tom! And Di too as I know you have a big part in this endeavor!

I wouldn't have thought twice about throwing it in the tub, just to see if it would float
