I just today had the opportunity to go for a 100+ blast down a deserted stretch of highway, and had NO vibrations, or hood shake AT ALL!!
 I now have the hood buffers installed, but not yet the three under hood gaskets. I will install at least the front hood gasket, at the leading edge of the hood, and take it for a FAST run. More later. P.S. pictures in my locker.

i have a vis CF hood on my impreza... i don't use hood pins, just the stock latch...
the fit is as good as stock, gaps are the same, and the quality is outstanding, much better than the CF one that was available for the svx before (ask ppl that saw my hood next to the CF svx hood at reading this year) what, as was discussed in the past would sell well, is a stock hood, no scoupes, no vents, not air ducts, just a CF version of the stock hood and the trunk, stock dimensions just much much lighter
